Rental Information


Our event coordinator for the Atlanta Woman’s Club, Beth Beery, has been involved with customer service and event management for over 10 years.  The Atlanta Woman’s Club pride of ownership in the Wimbish House is very evident and the Club makes every effort to exceed all of our client's expectations.  We want an event with us to be the very best in service and hospitality.

Facility Information


    "Elegant Upscale Ambience in the Heart of Midtown" - The Club is a beautifully renovated 102 year old building that is a national, state and city historical landmark.  It was built in 1906 as a private residence for the Wimbish family, and has been beautifully cared for by the Atlanta Woman's Club since 1914.  To view photos of the facility, please click here.

The Wimbish Mansion features include:
  - An elegant original 1920's ballroom with tall ceilings, arches
  - Hardwood floors, antique crystal chandeliers
  - Oval parlor with columns
  - Elevator
  - A variety of high ceiling rooms which elegantly flow into each other
  - Non-smoking facility
  - An easy to find location at the corner of 14th Street and Peachtree Street

 

 



Rates and Capacity March - December___________________________________

SATURDAY :

We can accommodate up to 250 for reception only and up to 140 for ceremony and reception.

 Ceremony and reception for 120 or less :  $4300    for  120 – 140 :  $4850

Reception for 200 or less :  $4150   for 200 – 250:  $4700

Each rate includes a $3650 facility fee,  $200 cleaning fee,  and $300 refundable damage deposit.   The rate for ceremony and reception includes a $150 rehearsal fee.  The higher rates for increased capacity include a $550 fee for use of the 2nd story of the house.   2/3 of the facility fee ($2450) is due at contract signing.  The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before the event.  We accept checks and all major credit cards.

The facility fee includes use of the building for 9 hours (from set up to break down) and all events must be completed by 2am.  We provide tables, chairs, security guard, hostess, use of our two grand pianos, and use of the kitchen for your caterer.  You are allowed to choose your own licensed caterer (as long as they meet our insurance requirements) and bring in your own alcohol.


FRIDAY and SUNDAY WEDDINGS :

  The facility fee is $275 an hour and you pay for all the time the space is used - from set up to breakdown.  There is also a $200 cleaning fee and $300 refundable damage deposit.  2/3 of the facility fee is due at contract signing.  The fee includes tables, chairs, hostess, security guard, use of 2 grand pianos, use of the first floor of the house and ballroom (can accommodate up to 200 for cocktail style party / reception), and use of the kitchen for your caterer.  The 2nd floor of the house is available for an additional $550 to increase capacity up to 250.  You are allowed to choose your own licensed, insured caterer and bring in your own alcohol.



REDUCED RATES FOR JANUARY AND FEBRUARY


$3000 Saturday rental 

$2000 Friday and Sunday wedding rental

$225 an hour - Sunday thru Friday (4 hour minimum)

Security


    We require security at every function.  Included in the above fees is one security person to assist with parking directions, the disabled, and general event security.

Handicap Accessibility


    The Atlanta Woman's Club strives to make its facilities accessible to all who visit. The Club has several ramps and an elevator for easy access. Please inquire for more specific information about access or other specific needs by calling our Club office at 404-870-8833.
